Safety Gear?

Let's face it, if your kid ever fell off the back of your bike and got hurt, you would really regret it.

Want your kid to cruise with you on the bike?  Many stores, online and brick and mortar, carry kids chaps, jackets, vests and other accessories. Since these items are leather, they may be almost as expensive as adult gear.

So remember, your kids are important. Get them the proper gear for motorsports and keep them safe

Many parents these days are buying their kids, kid sized dirt bikes, quads and even taking them on the back of their crusing bikes. Just like adults, kids need to be protected in the event of a spill. Parent's are responsible for their kids, so make sure you protect them. A full face helmet is the first line of defense. Half helmets may fit kids, but really are not safe enough. The helmet should be DOT or Snell rated.

Many stores cater just to kids, specifically for dirt bike and quads. Plastic armor suits can be purchased to wear for less than $50 and any regular jacket or jersey will fit over the plastic pads keeping your child safe. Special made pants with padding can also be found. These items will prevent serious bruises and injury when they fall, and most kids will take a spill at some time. Kids do not have the motor abilities of adults and often times lack the fear needed to be safe.
